At work We're looking into making shoes, well collaborating to be exact. Here's my initial designs.. They're mainly wooden with holes through to thread scarfs etc through to tie the foot in. other techniques used are nailing metal plates on, embossing leather/branding wood with patterns, stitching chain into leather and boxes in the heal to store matches, lipsticks etc etc..I have to add that it's getting pretty busy at work, colection in due in the shops by 23rd oct, and then on www.iqons.com all being well... fingers crossed! (hence lack of posts...)
